Brown-Banded Cockroach

Appearance

Brown-banded cockroach is a smaller cockroach that will grow to about 5/8 inches in length. Colors varying from tan to light brown, the brown-banded cockroach is identifiable by the two light colored bands across the wings and abdomen. The males will appear more slender than the female brown-banded cockroach.

Habitat

With less moisture necessary than other types of cockroaches, the brown-banded cockroach tend to be more broadly distributed in the home. The brown-banded cockroach can be found in your living room and bedroom, along with bathrooms and kitchens.
