PEST/WILDLIFE CONTROL TECHNICIAN

Critter Control has over 100 offices nationwide and our particular franchise has been in the Puget Sound area for almost 25 years! Critter Control of Seattle specializes in urban nuisance wildlife and insect control. Our customer base is residential, commercial, and municipal. We are a full service business that identifies the problem animal(s) and entry points, provides repairs, clean up and preventative services as well as animal trapping and removal.

Currently, we are looking to hire 2-3 hardworking, reliable technicians for full-time positions to join our expanding crew. This is an entry level position in urban nuisance wildlife control. Inspection of properties for wildlife and rodent damage and recommendations on a solution to the problem. Maintaining the accounts of active customers which includes inspections, setting live traps, light carpentry work (exclusion of animals), and working at roof top levels and on chimneys. Environment is friendly, casual and sales oriented. All training is provided.

We are looking for a physically fit person with ability to use tall ladders, live traps, and able to work at chimney and roof top heights. Good communication skills and sales ability are necessary as this position entails speaking directly with customers on a daily basis. Must be able to lift 40-50lbs and use 32’ extension ladders. Background in wildlife or environmental field helpful. Must have a valid driver’s license, good driving record, be available to work after hours as needed and on some weekends, be responsible with a go-getter attitude. Must be able to work in a team setting AND independently without immediate close supervision. A pesticide license is desired or taken and passed within the first month of hire. Full time position.

We do provide in-house training. You will be following an extensive training outline to give you the tools to succeed, relative to the wildlife, products, services, and materials you will be handling and providing. Pre-employment drug screen and background check required. Commission possibility.

COMPENSATION: Hourly wage based on experience and qualifications, plus bonuses and commission possibility.

REPAIR TECHNICIAN

We are a full service business that identifies the problem animal(s) and entry points, provides repairs, clean up and preventative services as well as animal trapping and removal.

Currently, we are looking to hire 1-2 hardworking, reliable technicians to join our expanding crew. This is an entry level position in urban nuisance wildlife control and will be full-time. This position will be responsible for setting/handling live traps, handling wild animals, completing repairs from ground level to chimney/rooftop levels and providing clean-out services for customers experiencing wildlife damage problems. And don’t forget, providing great customer service!
